P4 Learning the numbers and counting!

We still hadn't post a photo of P4 and today the day has arrived! In P4 we learn different topics related to Mathematics or Science. For example, today we were learning the numbers. Furthermore, we are learning the moods (happy, sad, scared, angry...) and some animals. We have started to sing the Christmas song, P3-P4 and P5 are singing Snowflake but this year we are preparing a special dance for you.

Descriptions - What's up Game.

In 4th grade we are learning how to describe ourselves. That's the reason why we started to apply the concepts learnt in class. We played the game so as to reinforce the structure "Has she/he got...". We have studied the physical description such as: curly hair, brown hair, big eyes, straight hair... The children have enjoyed and learnt a lot!

P5 - Our own memory cards!

What are we doing in P5? We are learning about the animals in a funny and didactic way. For example, once we have learnt the animals and its names (lion, rabbit, giraffe, goat, wolf...) we have drawn our memory cards so as to play the game!

The drawings are extremely beautiful!

Celebrating Halloween with 6th graders

Halloween has finished. But we really enjoyed walking around Anglès the day before Halloween. We dressed up with scary costumes and we sang songs, asking for sweets and saying "Trick or Treat". Next: Christmas!

A terrorist in Barcelona - Halloween story by Ànnia and Eloi

A teorrist in Barcelona

There was a boy and a girl who went to the park. They went with a dog and then a terrorist took the dog. The boy and the girl went to find the dog in an old house. When they entered they found the terrorist weapon.  In the bedroom they found lots of persons with their hands tied together with a rope. Then in the kitchen they found the dog and they went out of the house very fast. Then the boy phoned the policeman to arrest the terrorist and put him in the prison. Finally, the boy and the girl with the dog went with their parents.

English Teachers 2015-2016

Welcome to our blog! In this blog you will find some activities that have been carried out with our students.
We are very fortunate to have two teachers in the class.

Rachel is originally from Fraserburgh in north-east Scotland. She moved to Anglès in October and so far has settled in well and already made quite a positive impact on the students. She will be working with small groups (max 4-5) during class time to maximise their speaking skills and to have fun at the same time!

Judit is from Santa Eulàlia de Ronçana, a small town close to Granollers. She studied Primary Teaching in English at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and now she's doing a Masters Degree in Humanities (Art, History and Literature). Previously, she was teaching Spanish in Santa Agatha's Public Catholic School in Kingston, London. This year she will be teaching English to students from ages 3 to 12.

We will be regularly posting on this blog. If you have any questions please contact us!
